★★★★★ 4.9 · 1,049 reviews
All Sub Zero repairs performed by Scottsdale Sub Zero Repair include a 90-day parts and labor warranty. If the component we repaired fails again within 90 days of the original service date, we return and fix it at no additional charge. The warranty covers both the OEM parts we installed and all labor performed by our technicians.

What Our Repair Warranty Covers

Our 90-day warranty is straightforward. When you have a Sub Zero repaired by our team, you are covered for the following:

  • All OEM parts installed during the repair: If a part we installed fails within 90 days due to a defect in the part itself, we replace it at no charge. We use only genuine Sub Zero OEM parts, which carry their own manufacturer quality standards, but if a part fails prematurely we take responsibility.
  • All labor performed by our technicians: If the repair we performed does not hold or requires a follow-up correction, the technician return visit and all associated labor is covered at no charge.
  • Same-issue return visits within 90 days: If the specific problem we repaired recurs within 90 days of the original service, we schedule a return visit at no additional cost. There is no diagnostic fee, no labor charge, and no parts charge for the same failure within the warranty window.

Our technicians are factory-trained certified specialists in Sub Zero appliances. We carry OEM parts on every vehicle. Warranty claims are rare because the repairs are done correctly the first time — but the warranty is there unconditionally if you need it.

What Is Not Covered

Our repair warranty covers the specific work performed at the time of service. It does not cover:

  • New, unrelated failures: If we repaired your evaporator fan motor and 60 days later your ice maker fails, that is a separate, unrelated failure not covered by the original repair warranty. We would diagnose and quote the ice maker failure as a new service call.
  • Damage from improper use: Failures caused by use outside the appliance's operating specifications — such as blocking ventilation clearances, overloading, or user-caused damage — are not covered under the repair warranty.
  • Cosmetic damage: The warranty covers functional repairs only. Cosmetic issues (scratches, dents, finish blemishes) are not within scope unless they were created during the repair service itself.
  • Sub Zero manufacturer defects on new appliances: If your Sub Zero is a new unit and fails due to a manufacturer defect, that is covered under Sub Zero's factory warranty, not our service warranty. Contact Sub Zero directly or see the section below on manufacturer warranties.
  • Pre-existing issues disclosed at time of service: If we identified a separate issue during your repair and you declined that additional repair, a subsequent failure related to that unaddressed issue is not covered under the original repair warranty.

How to Use Your Warranty

Using the warranty is simple. If you experience the same issue within 90 days of your original service date:

  1. Call us at (602) 962-2732 during business hours (Mon-Sun, 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM).
  2. Describe the original repair that was performed and the symptom you are experiencing now.
  3. We will confirm the original service date and schedule a return visit promptly.
  4. The return visit, diagnosis, and all repair work for the same failure are at no charge to you.

You do not need paperwork, a service record, or a receipt to invoke the warranty. We have your service history on file. If you have your original invoice, that is helpful but not required.

Sub Zero Manufacturer Warranty vs. Our Repair Warranty

It is important to understand the difference between two separate warranties:

Our 90-Day Service Warranty

This is our warranty on the repair work we perform. It applies to any Sub Zero appliance we service, regardless of the appliance's age, and covers the parts we installed and the labor we performed. It is active for 90 days from your service date.

Sub Zero Manufacturer Warranty

Sub Zero Group provides a factory warranty on new appliances. For most current Sub Zero models, this is a 2-year full warranty and a 12-year warranty on the sealed refrigerating system. If your Sub Zero is a newer unit and you believe the failure is a manufacturing defect, that coverage comes from Sub Zero directly and is separate from our service warranty. Our certified repair team can help you determine whether a failure is likely a warranty claim or a standard service issue.

Frequently Asked Questions — Warranty

90 days from the original service date, covering both parts and labor. If the same repaired component fails within that window, we return at no additional charge. The warranty starts on the day your repair is completed.

Call us at (602) 962-2732 and describe the original repair and the new symptom. We will verify your service date and schedule a return visit. There is no charge for the return visit, diagnosis, or parts and labor if it is the same failure within 90 days. We stand behind every repair we perform.

Our 90-day repair warranty is tied to the specific repair performed at the service address. If you sell your Scottsdale home within the warranty period, contact us to discuss the situation. In most cases we can accommodate reasonable transfer requests for the remainder of the warranty term.
